**TAMPA, Fla. – A Florida teacher who made national headlines when she was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student has reached a plea bargain.
As part of the plea agreement, Debra Lafave won’t go to prison. Instead, the former middle school reading teacher will serve three years of house arrest and seven years probation.
The 25-year-old teacher pleaded guilty to lewd and lascivious battery.
During Tuesday’s hearing she apologized, saying, “I accept full responsibility for my actions.”
The boy involved told authorities he and Lafave had sex three times: once in a classroom, once in Lafave’s townhouse and once while his teenage cousin was driving them around.
Sure. I am sure he will have to share this painful experience with his fellow frat brothers at Psi Phi Kappa.
But seriously, what a double-standard of the court system.

Pardon me for feeling that this kid is no real victim. When you are a 14 year old with raging hormones and you get to bone this specimen, you are likely to be the envy of all in school.
