were u alone or u went with someone else???
a frnd gave me the email ad of a guy few months back and we have started chatting over the net for some time including web cam and phone calls. I haven’t met him yet and we are planning to so in a few days…
I am wondering whether i should go alone or bring someone with me coz i dnt really know him.
what do u suggest???

don't go alone, and meet him in public place.

Meet him in a public place!!!
I had the same situation too…I met him in a public place…well…at a bus stop 
and it was raining…and I was mad at him coz he was late!!! 
But I also had a friend close by in her car waiting to pick me up if I felt something was not right. So i suggest you have some1 you know around, some where near by…you can’t be too careful these days!

^NO NO!! don't do that...you still dnt know him to let him have control of the situation...meet up in a mall...but you go there alone...and you leave alone too!!!

after i got engaged, my faince asked me repeatedly to go out with him, so after getting permission from my parents (who are pretty conservative) i went to a restaurant with him, i also brought my sister with me, which was a really good idea of my fiance's since he figured my mother wouldnt be too comfortable with us going alone :) that was pretty tactful of him i have to admit, my mother didnt have a problem with me going with him as long as my sister went with me, and everything went great, it was ramadan at that time, and we had iftar together.
i would suggest that if you are from a conservative family, you should take some one with you as well.

Meet him in a public place. Take someone with you if you want....if you don't make sure you let someone (a relative/friend/whoever) know where you'll be going.
