This was supposed to be the mother of all decisions. Highly anticipated. Edge of the seat excitement.

At the end, it was an anti climax. Citing a global slowdown, the think tank left the interest rates unchanged. Till the next time.

The market ended the day down 1.5 plus percent. I hear quite a few folks were caught with pants down when the waves receded.

The market shot up like a rocket. Up 5 pct in last 3 to 4 days. Go figure.

Pundits say this is due to interest rates being unchanged for a while into the future.

Best to not get caught up in this. Just do asset allocation. And occasional rebalancing. Snp500 withing 7.5 pct of all time high.

Hope Mr. Afzal did well.

Bill Gross will have another fit. His bonds are not doing so well in this near-zero interest rates.

Bill Gross has been on the wrong side of bond price movements in last 2 years and has done a Cramer in a couple of about faces.
