so turns out all your feedback was for nought. i went to do the experiment today but the expiry date of the old milk was a little further in the past compared to when I opened the thread, and you could clearly see different layers in the milk, u know when the water seperates from the milk.

figured no amount of preservatives from the new milk can fix that.

so this question remains unresolved.

so wat did u do with a disintegrated milk? :D
