The world order is vulnerable, uncertain, complex and amibigious. As it transitions towards multipolarity it further reinforces the adage saying "Foreign policy begins at home".
Thus, home insecurity means multispectrum intervention from the global order. The recent conflict in Ukraine has made it abundantly clear, while simultaneously presenting us with two very significant realities:
Sovereignty of a nation can be revoked even in the modern era of international institutionalism.
Global anarchy can rapidly and abruptly fill in the void within the domestic public sphere, thus impacting the complete political and social landscape of a country
Which gives impetus to quiet a few neat new questions. Since the removal from power of Imran Khan in April 2022, and till the tragic May 9th 2023 direct attacks on the military installations:
Is the global anarchy meddling into Pakistani public affairs, and how long should it take for a nation like Pakistan to transition into an all out internal conflict, or an inevitable/inconceivable civil war.
Similarly, how long will it take for global powers to reach a point where the Pakistani state's sovereignty is either revoked, and/or cancelled?
And lettuce just assume if the state's sovereignty is revoked and violated (believing it hasn't been already), what will the new geopolitical reality be like?
The army abducted thousands of civilians, are raping and threatening to rape women, murdering political activists, bombing civilians and Generals are on foreign payrolls and most retire in lands of their masters, where did you see sovereignty?
