i forgot its name
then a few years back there was another movie where she does the role of a single parent to her daughter
that was one funny movie

I didn't exactly watch it...
well few moths back very late at night I finsihed my homework... and i was hungry... so as i was eating, and browsing thru different channels, then suddenly at 11:50pm on Channel5.. this movie was one...
so No no no I did not book a ticket in advance... unlike Anchal.... God knows what filty she has been watching... say don't your parents say anything... or don't they ever catch you snopping around ex-rated films???

Enigma is probably the most suitable way to describe Rekha. She is simply exquisite.
Unfortunately, either she has been type-cast or she just happens to have a knack for playing the courtesan/mistress.....e.g. Umrao Jaan, Suhaag, Silsila.
Over the years she has shown a talent for adapting herself....growing on a personal level, but though she claims that she is content with her accomplishments, her personal life, including several failed marriages, leaves a lot to be desired.
Anchal, that movie when she plays a single mother by the name of Mrs. Britannia.....ugh! I couldn't believe she actually took the role......it was such a horrible movie! Totally out of character for her.

I dont know why nobody has talked about the film 'Izaazat' yet. Rekha was brilliant in the movie and so was Naseeruddin Shah.
Wait there is 'Agar Tum Na hote' too.. she did full justice to her role in that film too with Raj Babbar(who I think is a highly under-rated actor).

Izaazat is one of my favorite movies, Naseeruddin Shah and Rekha both did a very good job...great story line and dialogues by Gulzar. I will add 'Agar tum a hote' movies to be watched list.
Btw, Naseeruddin Shah is very good in 'Mirch Massala'.

I think it was Ijazat movie?
No , "Izaajat" (?) did not have OmPuri and it has a totally different story line.
I think I know the movie Anchal is talking about but I dont recall its name.
