The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Interesting video.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

There seems a race among various factions of TTP to show we are more brutal than others.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Most of us tend to think that once the US pulls off the bulk of their forces from Afghanistan, the situation in Pakistan could improve. It could possible go the other way, I hope not!

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

that video paints a very confusing picture - especially the parts where the locals are interviewed - cant make out which side they are on.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

You will hear people on both sides, plus the taliban are still there amongst the population and they fear their return so its not easy for them to talk against them publicly.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Good to know that Afghanistan is doing what it is best at. Screwing us.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Why do so many people here and people in general in Pak believe that After US withdrawal all al qaida/taliban operatives from border area and several groups from inside of Pak who have been inspired by taliban/AQ will follow them and go to Afghanistan.

If I am one of those groups then I find it very hard for me to leave Pakistan for Afghanistan as in Pak, I can find better places to hide among local population, easy to fund my operations via robberies, kidnapping, extortion, much better place to recruit future foot soldiers via good solid supply of brainwashed youth, toothless governance and law and order situation above all somewhat of silent support from portion of local population that see me (somewhat) of savior of religion that stands up against US influence in Pakistan.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Majority of these militants (if not all) are "Pakistani" so they are not going anywhere, now that they are used to money, arms and power they will only push for more of these.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

The issue is that the most cruel groups among these are the Uzbeks, Chechens, Arabs (all foreigners) etc, even they will not leave Pakistan as they are not able to freely operate in their respective countries.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Agree with both Captain and Ali - I do not see strong enough reasons for things to change even after US leaves.

We are fighting a lost battle against intolerance and Extremisim and it is only going to get bloodier with casualties and irrepairable damage on whatever is left of Pak society.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

But this incompetent PMLN gov is not making things better. After staging the APC drama, Nawaz has only travled abroad for meeting his friends. Either start the hopeless dialog process or take this cancer out. Nawaz & Co should have joined stage dramas!

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

What a rubbish. Propaganda at its best. Even when the public opens their heart out, the so-called self-righteous journalists want to label that as “FEAR”.. Pathetic journalism.

so.. Ali you know this because you live there right? and you must be right because well you can’t be wrong! :halo:

In this case you are 100% wrong. Face it, the public love the taliban. do what you want, but don’t lie.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Imran Khan referred to the pashtun's in the Taliban as a "warrior race" who can't be defeated (this was 1 major weakness in his election campaign as he was siding with his own roots). This is not the solution. Nawaz Shareef needs to grow some cojones and send in the army for an all out war with them in the tribal belt; following which there must be a much stricter and rigourous border control.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

the mighty armies of the world coudn't defeat them in afghanistan, and now you want to send in your own troops alone?... may Allah help this nation.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Mr Janjua (i take it you are a rajput) what do you propose as a solution?

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

what does being a rajput have to do with anything?

my solution is simple, give them their rights and straighten things out by TALKING. because clearly bombing everyone is not helping.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

After 911, Afghanistan ka jo hashar nashar howa hay Allah na karay kisi aor mulk ke saath aisa ho. Perhaps you forgot when Northern Alliance moved against beghairtaTaliban how these animals left the front lines and left alone stupid Pakis jehadist to be killed left and right by Alliance and B2 bombers of Sam. How prisoners Paki jehadist were dealt later on by opponents every one should be ashamed of being called as Muslims.

Afghanistan was defeated so badly that it will perhaps require 7 generations to restore its dignity and respect and to become a viable country again. Imran Khan is living in British times. Bhai mere this is 21st century, maut ke saudagar if they go to latrine, their where about are known through the most modern surveillance/satellite system, perhaps Imran Khan does not want to believe that and still believing how these maut ke bikau saudagar could not be defeated during British times.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

Rajput was just a passing comment. You can't talk to psychotics, that's what the Taliban are. These people have been supported for too long and they are spreading insurgency into Punjab now. Pakistanis face a very bleak futuregiven the status quo and if they think talking to terrorists will help then they are wrong; it will get worse.

Re: The enemy within - Pakistani Taliban

saeen, using this same logic of latrine/accuracy, care to tell why no progress is made? why they running away from afghanistan?

baki northern kuffar alliance wagera ki kahaniaN sirf kahaniaN hain aur kahaniaN hi rehngi.

you did not provide the answer, where's the progress of the bombing crusade against the "psychos"? isn't the one who lets foreigners rape his country a psycho to you? or is he a brave heart?
