Once you have determined what God is, where HE is and what his grander plan for you is.
What do you propose to do with this wisdom?

Re: The end
I think that's the crux of life: I dont think one is able to comprehend all facets that come along when you're trying to answer this question, so for me the question of what comes after this is a non-issue. However, on a speculative note, could it be that in the after-life we will come to know this? But wouldn't that undermine the whole point of existence? If all these questions were answered (after)life would get boring very quickly.........perhaps that's why sometimes I wonder whether even in the afterlife there will be some kind of tests (at another (higher?) level)....
Re: The end
^ stop thinking and just live for once.
Re: The end
Amen To pCG
Re: The end
no its not. no one ever accomplished anything by just forming thoughts. you have to do - if you like to think so much, then write and publish a philosophy book. Pagal larka.
Re: The end
To Find satisfaction in heart to have found the God and that be thankful to Him for what he’d reveal to me as such.
And to let people of God know about the truth so that God may be pleased and so that people of God are also sucessful in life hereafter.
Re: The end
What if after all that you find out you are wrong?
Like for example an algebra equation, particularly hard, you spend days solving it, weeks, months, just to discover that every answer you could possibly have thought of satisfies it. Would that not piss you off?
Re: The end
But before the end there are papey and chai…
Let me quote what a great thinker once said…
"**Life is like chai and time is like papey **
You put time in life and consume that time. in the end you realize that there is no life left …, you consumed it with papey… err time"
Re: The end
having found God can never be wrong but for some people, it might ![]()
Re: The end
Hiccy, I found God this morning at 6:30 am...while I was hitting my second shot from the 3rd fairway..the sky was beautifully streaked with orange, pink, blue....the blue green ocean water was calm and the bluffs stood majestic as the surf crashed against them. I took a deep breath adn realized..I am god, god is me...it is everything around me. God is fkkkin great!!!!
Re: The end
hiccy that was a very obtuse way of telling u regularly flunk algebraic maths....generally if u cant solve it in one hr, its good to just give up in stead of discovering God thru it....:)
Re: The end
PD: That is exactly how I found my God. Eery that you narate it so well, shove a couple of moutains in there for good measure and I think you've made a phychic of yourself.
So far as the original question is concerned, I am talking more to the active philosophers - who painstakingly search for tha ultimate abstract. Is it not enough that you are alive ? Must you squander time and life (like code red said) by looking for unobtainable answers to undefined questions?
I do think enlightenment is a happy accident. Chillout being the message of the hour.
Ghulail, almost funny better luck next time.
Re: The end
philosophy and spirituality should occur to you. i believe intuition has a better chance of arriving at ‘the end’ than systematic thought.
so yeah, like hiccy says, sit back and eat chaye papay, caffiene helps god consciousness :k:
Re: The end
Submit completely to His Grandeur plan for me.
“Submission to God, thy name is Islam!”
Re: The end
On the topic of going wrong. Heres my two cents. After death these are the two most likely scenarios:
**
Case 1. There is no God.**
The non-believer ceases to exist.
The believer ceases to exist.
Nothing ever happened.
**
Case 2. There is God.**
The non-believer goes to hell - forever. Hence screwed forever.
The believer goes to heaven - forever. Hence saved forever.
So you see the believer can't go wrong here. In either case the believer is insured (i.e. he wont have to face hell). The non believer however is playing a 50-50 gamble here.
As for the question of what to do with your time once you've found God. Well ofcourse like everyone says, do everything to Please Him. How do you do that? Not by spending your life in prayer. Prayer is good (and compulsory) but there only so much of it you should spend your time in. The rest of your/our time should be spent in serving humanity. That is the ultimate form of worship. And that is something you can never ever go wrong with.
PS: This is not a paid message by the Red Cross.
PS2: I've never met Abdul Sattar Edhi.
Re: The end
God is something/SOmeone being which what can be determined. Where He is , everywhere , in the skys in the water , in your “sheh rug” , His grander plan for me , well imagine this , God loves a muslim or was it humans 70 times more than his mother loves him , and My mom REALLY REALLY loves me, so he wants us to go to heaven , and god just wants one thing from us , To pray to him to worship Him. To Give Shahadah that he is GOD and no other god exists besides Him.
Increases our faith , doesn’t it .
Re: The end
Not really.
I dont actually conform to the belief that god who loves you to the magnitude of 70 moms will fry you alive ala chip pan human.
Re: The end
When god has continously warned of the consequences of disobeying Him and holding partners with him , even then . Well guess what, even then He’s ready to forgive and forget.
