but you still did not answer the question. why no mass protests there. are the taleban supporters preventing ppl to go demonstrate against the govt? or are the people there content with status quo?
I am not on the ground in Pakistan and havent been back in a while. I dont know what the ground reality is there and whats in people's heart. Cant say for sure why people in Swat, Kohat, Gujar Khan etc etc are not out in the streets protesting either against emergency rule or taliban flags. But it also doesnt mean that since people have not come out to protest en masse that they are happy with status quo. That would be a faulty reasoning.
