oh ho ho yes my child…let me pull my armchair by the fireplace and light up my pipe, I can start telling you stories you would not believe. my nieghbourhood used to think of my wailing as attack sirens and ran for bomb shelters. I had a bad temper as a lil baby and one time I did not have the right amount of gripewater after having a rather heavy serving of clotted creme with strawberries, in anger I flung my rattle ..i was by a window and it just flew up and up. a german bomber plane was ready to destroy my lil village, but the rattle went and lodged itself in the german fighters err ‘cheeck’, in sudden panic he slammed on teh brakes of his plane and the entire squadron of bombers had a pileup in teh skies over wolverhampton.

Oh goodness..the planes started falling like flies, luckily our street had drying lines in the gardens and they served as trampolines, the planes fell and bounced back all the way to germany.,=and landed on their brigades that were moving about, as word spread that the elite german bombing squad was all killed and the leader had a harrods baby rattle stuck up his err cheek, teh entire germany military lost courage. By that time yanks had shown up to mop up the mess.

oh some days they were. winston churchill himself came to my crib and gave me a commemoratve jewel encrusted solid gold rattle, I however

as an infant I hated being disturbed from my naps one day while we were at oxford watchign teh relays , a few south asian gentlemen were arguiong really loudly about india, I was reallya nnoyed and told them to go back to their country, the told me the brits had taken over their country so I told thenm to go back and kick teh brits out, but let me have my nap, oh goodness they started arguong with me ..about who needs to be the leader, I was so mad I ripped the map in three pieces and gave it to them. not sure what happened to them.

ohh my…what days they were…marvelous, simply marvelous
