As for the Geocentrism/Heliocentricity controversy, the proof for Geocentrism is that it is scientific. The fact that it is in the Bible/Koran (when the whole world has thrown out Geocentrism) proves the Bible/Koran has credibility as the source of scientific truth even if the “science establishment” and the whole world has accepted the Kabbalist Big Bang evolution model (which would not and can not exist without heliocentricity). True science proves the Bible/Koran, not the other way around. The Copernican Model consists basically of nine assumptions, all of which are false science.
If the Bible/Koran is not literal then you can't "know" what God's truth is until you first learn what "the truth" really **is...... and if that is the case then you can't rely on Scripture for truth, since you can't know it to be truth until after you learn what the truth really is!?... You can't go outside the Word of God to understand the Word of God and then claim that the Word of God is the ultimate authority for truth, because the ultimate authority would then be whatever "authority" that "interpreted" for you what the Word of God "really meant".

Actually the heliocentric model is just as wrong as the geocentric model. Science of today has modified both of these you'll need to modify your text on your rebuttal pro forma, it seems your source has not been updated for about 40 years.
Current models work off the galactocentric model but even this is acknowledged as an assumption.
About your reasoning ... yes it is true ... one needs truth before one may be able to discern truth. The Qur'an does not claim to reveal truth to people. Rather it claims to Guide those who already fear God. In fact these are the first words after the Opening Chapter.
It is a Book that requires us to believe with 'faith' in it, but it does not oblige us to lift it out and apply it to the world in the frame of reference of our choosing. Rather we are constrained because we must search and find and what we find must lead us back to scripture so we can be guided. It is not intended to be a means to gain "power" over the world. This is not the purpose of scripture.
There is a similarity between you and those atheists who falsify scripture just like there is a similarity between Christians and Jews. You and atheists both say that scripture says geocentric whereas science says otherwise ... Also, Christians and Jews both say that Jesus claimed to be God, whereas Muslims say that he was taken out of context and never made such claims. Just as Jews reject the authenticity upon the alleged claim the Christians accept the false understanding likewise just as atheists reject the authenticity of scripture upon the alleged claims you accept the false understanding.
There is a correct understanding and that is what satisfies the reason whilst doing so without betraying the scripture. This is the condition we need to seek not the one that is intentionally at loggerheads with science and reason. Faith does not infer anti-reason rather it infers meta-reason. Just because it is a belief system it does not have to betray science. Rather the Qur'an tells us to look to creation and seek for the signs of God.
