I think it's becoming a trend for pakistanis to make movies on political and social issues of pakistan, jaise ke hume news channels aur ird gird kam dekhne ko milte hein.

The trailer sucks. Really, can't we ever come up with a decent trailer? Once again, I have no idea what the movie is about.
The only part I found interesting is about ethics in journalism. I wonder how the issue will be approached because I have never seen a decent journalist on any of the Pakistani channels.

one dude comes out with bol and khuda ke liye...now everybody else wants to follow his formula! "lets make a depressing movie based on social issues" seriously? we can't come up with a decent "entertaining" movie. I hope these directors and writers know that these 180 million poverty stricken people of pakistan are not looking to watch a emotianal rollercoaster type of a movie...they get to experience it everyday...what they are looking for is "entertainment." They are looking for something that will allow them to escape (temporarily) from the painful realities of their lives and give them some sort of relief. Somehow I get the feeling that these so called "directors" are more interested in bagging film festival recognition and awards rather than catering to the masses.
