the dulhan hair bump

re: the dulhan hair bump

:rotfl: same here.

re: the dulhan hair bump

For mine they used backcombing and fake hair! The stylist braided the hair and added it on my bun.

re: the dulhan hair bump

my hairstylist added a big braided plait of hair and she wrapped it around my joora to make it bigger in the back for the dupatta to sit on -

re: the dulhan hair bump

My best friend did my wedding hair and makeup. She is a pro MUA. She used a huge fake hair extension that she weaved into my hair and coiled it around my bun. It was such a nice up do on its own too.

I use fake hair balls. They're easy to make at home and cheap. All you need is an extenstion and hairnet.

Lol ditto thinking about brides being preggers!

And it's basically a sponge that's tucked underneath your hair!

re: the dulhan hair bump

haha bums and balls ..

hairstyles always are a scary procedure!

Re: the dulhan hair bump

Rasulallah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) has mentioned, “There are two groups of people who are from amongst the inmates of the fire, I have not seen them. a) Such a nation who possesses whips like the tails of cattle, they beat the people with it. b) Women who are dressed, yet they are naked, they inclining towards others and others inclining towards them, their heads are like the leaning humps of female camels, they will not enter Jannah, nor will they get its fragrance. Verily, its fragrance can be smelt from such and such distance”. (Sahih Muslim vol.2 pg 205/383, Rashidiyyah)

Some commentators of Hadeeth have given the following comments on the underlined section of the Hadeeth,
a) They enlarge the head by tying a cloth, turban or something generally worn on the head in such a way that it resembles the hump of a she came.
b) To plait the tresses of hair and then to gather it in the centre, at the top of the head.

Generally nowadays, a woman ties her hair in a bun behind her head because of it being more convenient and easier to conceal all her hair. If it is done in this manner, it will be permissible.

Irrespective of the hair being in a bun, plait or pony tail, the hair of a female forms part of her Awrah and should be concealed at all times.

Re: the dulhan hair bump

Look at this then Shaza’s comment - pantyhose with cotton ! hahaha .. that looks like a complete lingerie in there :stuck_out_tongue: ..

sorry not here to make fun .. but i feel the hair bump is okay to have as long as it supports the dupatta .. anything beyond that on top of your head just looks weird .. if i have a choice id rather not get a bump at all !!

Re: the dulhan hair bump
