Why is that most modern medium shows the devil as a woman? Food for thought…

My take - because man is weak and is quick to blame womankind for his own failings. Thus, in some modern incarnations - woman is seen as tempting man to sin. Blame it on man's weakness and cowardice.

oh my God, men that are playas have this devil given talent of messing over a woman. I watch my guy friends do it to pretty women almost every time. It’s incredible what they can do and it’s even more surprising how these women fall for their charms. for the guys it’s just a fun thing to do to pass the time and their little game amongst each other. oh little devil thy name is Man!(well not all men :-)) unfortunately they’re sweet with me 
of course being an awesome woman I do let the women i can talk with know that it’s just innocent flirting and not to take them seriously, i must have saved a dozen from heart break. I’m stuck between my buddies and my soul sistas, my fellow genderettes:bummer:. i’m so proud of myself

i’m somehow a magnet for such men. thankfully they came in the form of friends plus they know they’re doing something wrong
now you tell me in a relationship where the playa is involved who has the control in such a relationship. he’s the tempter, he’s the one that would have full control of when he’ll essentially break it off so he can move on to the next pretty girl. the woman gets emotionally attached. when a woman stops thinking practically and let’s emotions take over is the death of her

Temptation is all around us. Chocolate is my Achilles heel does that make chocolate my devil?
And if men seek to impress women, it's not for the sake of the woman, it's because they're looking at what benefits will result for them from having impressed the woman - man is not by nature altruistic and selfless, he's looking for what's in it for him.

Pfft a lowly woman defeat me? Never! A man who does so is merely getting his mac on and there is nothing wrong with that at all. It simply goes to prove some women are too simple minded to understand the true nature of the beast.

I would say it’s women who more easily fall to temptation and devil’s evil whisperings. So men are the real devil’s advocate

Engimatic most historical depications of the devil is indeed in its mail form with hooves and horns. Most modern day mediums of entertainment depict the devil as a beautiful woman tempting the man.
