Read all about it. Fahim has stepped down. Shame i rather see him run than a racist punjabi who wont do anything for the smaller provinces, instead he will steal stuff from them.
Who the hell is Shah Mehmood Quereshi?
I don't think Shah Mahmood will win, neither do I think he's racist. Not everybody's Nawaz Sharif lol
Shah Mahmood is a old time PPP jiyala, former Zila Nazim of Multan as well.
I wish Mr. Jamali wins PM post. In any case, I won’t like to see a PM from Punjab becaue hum logoN ko pehly hi bohat bad’naam kia jaa chuka hey. Best of luck to everyone:k:
True :k:
Well, it doesn't make any difference to BB whether its a punjabi or sindhi PM, coz she has a huge following from the Punjab region as well. Its only during the election campaigns and to gain votes that they raise such slogans stocking ethno-religious sentiments.
Re: The daughter of Sindh wants a Punjabi PM
Does the PM candidate has to secure a simple majority from the votes cast or he needs 172 votes (simple majority of the total house membership)?
The news article suggests he needs 172 votes. I am not sure. Anyone knows?
I hope Jamali wins. It is high time of Baluchistan to send a Prime Minster. I sincerely hope that his performance is better than the other PMs. He is also a new face so lets give it a try :k:

Righto Faisal,
Whoever gets the 172 votes, will be our future Prime Minister.
Total Seats: 343.
So, if only 320 members actually vote, then the PM candidate still has to secure 172+ votes?
If Jamali gets 166 votes and the other two get 80 + 74 votes, then no one will be successful? What will happen then?
Run-off election between top two? I don't think we have a provision for that, do we?
Well what we need is a PM who sincerely works for the country and i dont think ethnicity has anything to do with it, sincereity for Pakistan or patritism is not dependent upon one being a punjabi or sindhi baluchi etc. It depends on the amount of love we have for our country.
Not all punjabis are alike and neither are all sindhis or any other ethnicity saint , i mean BB is a great example isn't she?
So i wish we start thinking as Pakistanis coz the more we let this hate seperate us the more distant we will get from each other. after all no matter which province we belong to we r all Pakistanis first. Hope we can all start thinking collectively for Pakistan rather then for individual provinces and stop pointing fingers at what the other had done.
No matter what Nawaz Sharif did or Benazir did their acts effected Pakistan and Pakistanis as a whole not just as individual provinces.
So no matter who or from where the next PM is we need him/her to work dedicatedly towards building a better Pakistan.
So all the best to all of us :)
Well said :k: I hope your wishes come true ![]()

this is sad and funny - what this guy Achakzai did as well everyone overly fuzzing about ‘electing’ a PM that Gen.Musharaf will not dismiss too soon. reminds me of what i read about a couple of state legislators in Bihar and may be in Tamil Nade getting up on the table and dance semi nude, all to protest some motion before the house.
these bozos get paid in the bargain!
I think she is just trying to win Punjabi voters... Thats not gonna help anyone, might just make provincial problems even worse.
He is not racist at all...
