Akmoti that polka dot thing is simply awesome , I love it .. so simple yet so trendy .. Even the owl pic you chose is awesome ..
you can always cut up the alphabets on a paper first and then use that paper or hardboard as a stencil to cut the cloth .. using a machine is a tough call in the beginning but looks like you already have the perfect plan B 
Really looking forward to seeing this in a ready form .. which design is gonna go on the toy bag?
