This one is for a friend. She has been looking for a table runner for ages now .. but doesnt like the usual ones we get in the market .. she said they arent fancy enough or doesnt match her color scheme.

So after multiple failed attempts of going shopping with her and not being able to find anything suitable, we finally came upon this one particular piece but was horribly expensive .. so we dropped that too ..

Finally now I have told her I will crochet a runner and four coasters for her .. I am keeping the colors in mind that she has in her living room .. and its going to cost us a fraction of a price of what we saw in the market earlier and much more stylish as well .. the market one was an ordinary cloth used to make a runner !

Will post pics in a few days .. its still in the making ..

CB wouldl you share which colors are in your mind for the crochet work?
and how the interiors of her living room are?

i did crochet more than 10years back…my nani taught me and i used to make galas and sleeves for my kameez shalwar…it was fun

for the toybag…i havent decided the owl yet…i even like the one on contrarian’s display
