I saw concorde. Ok, its not as big a deal as it would have been 20 years ago but really…its gorgeus. Sooo unique to all the other crappy planes. Small, cute and birdlike.

Anyone ever seen it in flight? I never did :frowning:

Yeah seeing concords overhead was pretty common in London.

I saw it take off and land all the time as it flew past my home.

The 6.30pm take offs from Heathrow were phenomenal. You can hear it from the moment it tears down the runway and the roar as it flies over is something you have to experience yourself. Windows vibrate, car alarms get set off and your whole body shakes. Unbelievable experience, it gives you a real buzz.

I worked for BA for my work experience back in my school days and got see 3 of them in person and touched it with my own hands. Got a pic of me in the cockpit too :) (although its awfully cramped)

I miss it dearly :(
