The concept of merciful & all knowing God

If God is so me merciful & all knowing then why does he allows suffering, poverty, diseases and deaths of millions and millions of innocent people?

So, if he is merciful he can’t let all that happen & if he is all knowingly & letting it happen he can’t be merciful.

So, which one is it?

well may be because god is not always merciful. he/she has different definations in different beliefs.
if he/she was really merciful then there wont be so many religious death punishments in different religions.

I think we need to discuss the concept of a god before discussing his attributes.

1- to create balance (equilibrium)

2- Our choices either right or wrong nothing have to do with mercifulness of God.
