thats the point, if you notice, in the bottom lines i said that punishing an adulterer by 'stoning to death' is not mentioned in Quran (as far as my knowledge and research goes). It is hundred flogs. And after being whipped X 100, one sure does get time for repentance.:)

Then you agree why I questioned how someone can refer to stoning as "it's better to be punished in this world for it then the next." If you don't have time to repent while dodging rocks, you will not gain favor with God before you die.
