The coat style formal wear with banarsi under-shirt

Hi guy, I just got back from a survey of clothes from gulf market, to wear for my brother’s wedding early next year. I saw this very long banarsi undershirt and over it there was chiffon sleeveless long coat with embroidery over it. Alot of them had lovely contrasts with turquoise and beige or purple and grey but I’ve never seen anyone wearing it in weddings. How do they look?

I have seen some at weddings with trousers underneath. They look quite good.
