The city of Banu under siege: Mullahs kills women and children

Re: The city of Banu under siege: Mullahs kills women and children

Sorted out how? By letting them escape justice for their multiple violations of law? The government's demands were simple and just. Pakistan has several laws that the Lal Masjid broke; the government simply asked for surrender, arrest, and trial.

Given recent court rulings against the government, you cannot argue that the courts are simply government tools. The Lal Masjid's people would have had a fair trial to prove whether or not they did anything illegal.

Instead, they refused to surrender, and chose to attack the soldiers sent in to seize them.
