Do you know the pain you cause… …With words so harsh and cruel ? What happened to the things you taught ? Where is the “Golden Rule” ?
Treat me as you wish to be… You reap just what you sow. For many years your words hurt me… It’s all this child did know.
Then came the time I became a man… Degraded, lost and alone… Each day I try to do what’s right… But the way was never shown.
I was told I’d fail at all I’ve tried. Unworthy, the ******* child. ,never to succeed… Your words was never mild.
I have wept at night wondering what I did… You blamed my abuse on me. So many times,I’ve wished to end my life… No more days of sorrow to see…
Many prayers to God I have sent up… Please stop these words of pain. You hate me and you wish me dead… My prayers seemed all in vain.
What shall I do to explain this thought ?? Do you realize what you do ?? Don’t forsake to measure your words… What a child is depends on you.
I will survive because I know… I’m not those things you say. In spite of you… I will succeed Somehow I’ll find a way…

A toxic childhood has deep impact. Sad to see many children not getting the emotional security & moral support that they should from their parents, teachers, elders etc while growing up. It leads to the creation of disturbed adults.

It usually destroys. Some may appear to have had a constructive effect by creating walls to their true self.
Determination isn't a measure of constructive/destructive effect of toxic childhood.

lekin with toxic childhood, sab kuch milne ke baad bhi aisa lagta hai jaise kuch nahin mila. people lose sense of happiness and achievement.

But people who suffered a lot in past know the true meaning of life/things/relations. They are far more vibrant/lively ..and more into helping others than the rest. And true escence of living is to live for others.
