That's a myth they believe (masons, jews, secret societies) believe. There was no temple. It was the masjid Al-Aqsa Hazrat Yaqoob (pbuh) established and Suleyman (pbuh) built it, it was not temple.
The Templar Knights called it "Solomon's Temple".
A temple is a place dedicated to the worship of a deity. Mosques are Muslim temples, Churches are Christian temples, Mandirs are Hindu temples and so on.
So how is it a myth?

Some unknowingly accept it, it doesn't mean it doesn't mean anything. The shia have this evil eye thing "fatima's eye" that's just right out of the Yahood textbook. Nothing to do with Islam.
Taking the easy way out are we? Hamsa is popular throughout the entire Middles East (which is majority Sunni) and North Africa. Don't just blame the Shias.
