The time has come for the Iraqi people and its government to embrace the opportunity for a progressive and prosperous future. It is time for the Iraqi people to hold on to their achievements and aim for a future free of dictatorship, and tyranny. The entire world is anxiously waiting to witness the Iraqi people work through their differences so they can build their nation, strive for progress and peace. We have spent almost 8 years in Iraq, and alongside the Iraqi security forces fought hardships and challenges in order to give the Iraqi people the freedom which they, and the entire human race, deserves. Now it is up to the Iraqi people to show the world what a democratic state, run by their choice, can achieve for them.
Our withdrawal from Iraq should also put to silence the baseless allegations that have been launched at our motives since the beginning of this war. The allegations that we are in Iraq to steal their resources, their oil, that we are invaders and want to occupy Iraq and build our permanent bases. Disappointment knocks on the door of those conspiracy theorists whose allegations will once again be proved wrong. In the past, we have answered those conspiracy theorists by questioning them, “What will happen to your allegations when you see us withdrawing from the region without the oil and without permanent bases?”
As our president has said, “At the end of this year, America’s military operation in Iraq will be over. We will have a normal relationship with a sovereign nation that is a member of the community of nations. That equal partnership will be strengthened by our support for Iraq – for its government and for its security forces, for its people and for their aspirations.”
few of the many bogus reasons given for illegally occupying iraq by imperialist government of America.
1- Iraq has WMDs = found out to be baseless lies
2- Al qaida in Iraq= another baseless lie no evidence was ever given.
3- We here to fight saddam loyalists = WMD lie failed so lets make up saddam loyalist excuse, in fact when you occupy a country all people will resist.
4- US military cannot leave country because iraq will collapse = if you didn’t illegally occupy & destroy country in first place you wouldn’t need to be there so another lie.
Iraqi deaths have totaled around the 200,000 mark something the Centcom sock puppet forgets to mention in his weekly propoganda broadcasts.
To understand the iraqi oil scam you need to realise the biggest oil service providers are Schlumberger, Halliburton, and Baker Hughes all based in Texas, USA.
Iraqi oil is 100% under control of USA inc, the PSA( production sharing agreements) is when governments give a company share in oil. Iraq has instead been giving Service contracts where company is paid to extract oil and has no ownership of oil. The Iraq parliment is completely handpicked by Americans so in reality they also control the oil aswell as providing the logistics to extract the oil via the 3 major service companies mentioned.
The American’s will not leave Iraq, having an embassy just built biggest in the world costing hundreds of billions staffed by thousands of people is that a sign of America leaving you needs thousands of embassy staff???
the tens of thousands of soldiers will be given new name such as contractors, trainers or shipped a few miles down the road to kuwait where thousands more of them are stinking the place up.
Did you find any weapon of Mass destruction??? are you taking them with you?
Major wont be able to answer you as they dont believe in giving answers, talk about rogue nations. What else you expect from siblings of thiefs and thugs.
Do you really believe Iraqi people are worse off living in freedom today? We agree that there was an intelligence failure, but then most intelligence agencies agreed with the conclusion that Saddam still possessed WMD capabilities (it was not just us).The intelligence may not have revealed WMDs, but it did unmask how much Saddam’s people were ready to topple his regime. Today Iraq is free with a democratic government. Al-Qaeda was certainly successful in orchestrating large number of killings and utilizing the situation to their benefit. Most Iraqis were killed by Al-Qaeda operatives in the aftermath of Iraq’s liberation, but today they are on path to recovery. We welcome any evidence which states otherwise. As promised by President Obama, our combat troops are already out of Iraq and soon the few trainers who are left will be leaving. Iraq faces some challenges, which we are confident Iraqis themselves will resolve, but this proud country now stands a better than even chance of emerging as a beacon of freedom and democracy in the Middle East and around the world.
