i bring indian meat it doesnt have any smell as m in middle east...paki or any other meat have really bad smell i've tried all the totkas but still it was smelly.....i miss the meat i used to eat in pakistan...so fresh n no smell....hmm

I know my dad soaks chicken in vinegar before marinading and baking/grilling.

Add bari elaichi and cinnamon sticks to the meat and boil, then throw out that water. Do the same again, and then cook. That is what my mother does and no matter what the meat alhamdulillah it doesn't stink.

Blue meat??!! Never seen. But I do know that they put a stamp on meat with blue ink.. lol. I buy from halal wholesale store. Meat doesn't smell as bad to me as it does to some other people I know. I am just so used to it. Make sure the butcher is selling goat.. not sheep. Also like Mirch mentioned it makes a lot of difference if its a young animal.

Because it stinks. I used to hate making anything goat/mutton because the smell was so awful. Found out I was actually getting sheep/lamb not goat. My MIL hates any kind of smell, meat, egg.. It doesn't bother me unless its like really really bad which was the case when I was getting sheep/lamb.

I know someone told me that but I don't want to eat smelly ghosht. :( so I just stick to this way, this is the only way it turns out 100% good. Other ways are always a hit and miss.

^ If the meat is smelly to a point where it's very noticeable, it's probably gone bad. =/ Fresh, good meat should never 'stink'.
