The Cardigans

There is definitely something weirdly interesting about the music here. They produce good original music with old ideas. The music remains fresh even after you listen to it so many times. Its creepy and still you can hum it.

May be its the singer who has a different style of singing, some touch of country style in her but it goes well ..she adds melody. Or may be its the slow paced beats combined with nice lyrics.

Whatever it is .. its my find for the last one year :stuck_out_tongue: Definitely something to keep eyes on.

Are they the ones that did that song from Romeo and Juliet in 1997? That really catchy one, 'love me love me, say that you love me. Need me need me, say that you need me, blah blah blah, I don't care about anyone but you'. or something like that.

yeah they are sadi sobi. they also did this song a few years later, of which the video got banned cause the lead singer was apparently depicted as commiting suicide ... driving a car deliberately into a tree ... they changed it and had a huge rock land on her instead. that was also a good song ... can't remember the name though.

^ the song was called.."that stupid ass rock that fell on my peanut head or was it...My car hugged a tree, now I am huggin st. peter.

Yes Sobi thats the one.

Other nice ones are 'For what its worth', 'My favourite game' and personal favourite 'Erase and Rewind'.

:)

That song is annoying now, it's played at virtually every non asian wedding I've been to.
