Re: the cambridge diet

I went on this a couple of years ago for about 2 weeks or so, I lost about a stone I think ..... well cant really remember much now but I think I could choose out of a shake, a chocolate bar, soup and juice as my meal (they where filling). most people stick with the shakes, gradually u can give up the shakes and start having health meals u have to be very determined to stay on this diet coz if u give up half way thro u will end up putting all the weight back on

Re: the cambridge diet

I dont this its a very sensible diet. Two of the teacher at work are on it. One of them is a yo yo dieter and all she did for 1 month was drink milkshakes from a teeny tiny carton 3 times a day. Lost some weight but put it all back on again.

I don't think its a long term solution, perhaps just a short term fix.

Re: the cambridge diet

hmmmm, one of the girls i knw ha been off it for a month now n shes hasnt put any weight back on..........i was thinking of trying the slimfast diet but in similar routine to the cambrigde one, like take the milkshakes 3 time a day n drink 2 litres of water for 6 days n then eat one day n strt again, lets see

Re: the cambridge diet

sweetu what kind of shakes can we take?

Re: the cambridge diet

I've tried Mayplesyrup diet and lost around 4kg in a week but if you leave the diet and go back to your previous eating routines then you'll put on even more weight and that very quickly. So whatever diet you do, remember carry on doing excercise and eating less even after the diet.

Re: the cambridge diet

i tried oj diet for a month and it worked i was 50 kg when i started and lost 5 kgs too bad i got lazy and alot of things happened so i started eating like idiots and gained the weight back im 52kg at the moment :(

r u in uk?
if so go down to Boots or Wilkinsons n get some slimfast shake powder, they have a few flavours
it says on the tin to take one shake n a couple of snacks n a light meal a day, whereas the cambridge diet is strictly 3 shakes (they gve u all the nutrients u need) n 2+ litre of water a day, so i was thinkin instead of doing the couple of snacks n meal y not use the slimfast shkes n take 3 a day n the water with bit of exercise.....i will b trying it strting mid nxt week, lets see how it goes

Angelmist
If you're 50kg then you don't have to lose to much weight so i don't think you need a crash diet, stick to the work out or take long walks.
