Re: The brave men who visit life 1

You know Zakk, I had a dream … :frowning:

Five score years ago, we men were treated with honor and dignity. Our women folk looked at us with love and tenderness, lasting trust and compassion.

But now we live in distress … we face riddicule and bear solitude. We are no longer the gentlemen. We are men , the world does not want give us our birthright, our dignity.

My dear friends !

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal. and we men are no less important now than we we centuries ago …

I have a dream that one day we will rise as gender and regain our Lost glory. Women of this world will, again, one day look at us kindness and give us equal rights… the day when our women will shun the hatred and prejudice … and embrace us with open heart

*This will be the day when all of God’s children will be able to sing with a new meaning, “My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring.” And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania! Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado! Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California! But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia! Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee! Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring. *

(sorry for plagiarizing; but I believe Mr. King would have been no less passionate about the the state of manlyhood now, than he was for his race in those days :flower1: )

Re: The brave men who visit life 1

I feel sorry for those men who feel they don't have respect among women anymore. But to tell you the truth, and am sure lot of guppans will support me in that, Guppans don't hate men. They only hate double-standard men! So if men are honest, honorable, and respect women despite the fact where they were born or raised, am sure they will be equally reciprocated!!!

Despite what is discussed on this forum men would still be wanting loyal, and caring wives and women would still be longing for a strong hand to hold, a strong shoulder to lean against and an honorable man to walk with as wives!

Re: The brave men who visit life 1

My dear Muzna !

My heart weeps when i see women of this age lowering their standards when they ask for equality with men … I get sad when I see gentlemen in old movies taking of thier hats and tilting thier heads in respect of a lady and then i see women of this age demanding physical contact with every male in form of kiss and handshake for a greeting !

I feel strange when I see woman carrying heavy grocery and no one bothers to help her … I fear that if i offer help she might get offended assuming that I consider her weak and incapable of doing something a man can do ?

I wonder why today’s women can’t take respect at its face value ?

Women have been working along with men in fields, farms and homes for centuries ! I wonder how they coped with all of these duties so amicably ?? How much sexual harrasment did those women use to face ? they used to send their kids to day care centers ? How their married life went so well without many hiccups ?? Why men used to respect these women so much ?

wondering and pondering …

Oh dear sweet Muzna ! you seems to be the wise one among so many apricots and cherries. You tell me Where are the wise women of today, who can truly understand men and their need to give respect and be respected :flower1:
