Re: The Brahminist Plan to Exterminate Indian Christians
Political parties in a democracy behave in almost a predictable fashion. When they are small, they try to be speaking for a section of the 'disadvantaged' populace. When they grow, they realise that such exclusivism will carry them only so far. Then they try to add to their 'target segment'. This was the case, for example, with the DMK, which started off as a separatist party fighting for the tamils. Once it tasted power, all that was given up and has been associating with the ruling party at the centre for decades now.
Bringing in BSP in this discussion is a joke. Once they realised that they have reaped all they can from the dalits, they have turned directions. Their focus is now on the brahmins, whom they think are disillusioned because they have not wielded power for the past three or four decades. And what did they do recently? Organise a mammoth meeting of the brahmins in UP. (They have routinely been giving way more than a quarter of their seats to the so called forward castes even earlier )
This is what democracy does. It forces you to make peace with even those you consider different.
