Which product of theirs is your favourite or a must-have in your view?
Re: The Body Shop
I generally find their stuff to be a bit too expensive, yet the quality rather poor. All their products look/smell absolutely gorgeous, but they don't actually work as well as similar products. e.g. I bought make up brushes, eyeshadows, foundation stick, foot cream, body washes, body scrubs, eye make up remover, loadssssss of stuff from there - but I just don't think the quality is that great compared to when I've bought the same products in other brands.
My fave Body Shop product is the strawberry scented moisturiser - the small size one for your handbag. It smells sooooo lovely, like strawberry bubblegum lol, and it actually moisterises reasonably well (I still think brands like Nivea, Dove or Jergens are better moisturisers though, I just love the smell of the body shop one!)
Re: The Body Shop
I've never been a body shop make up person either, I find that their stuff isn't pigmented enough, and it is pretty expensive as well. I've used their shimmer cubes and I have their Shimmer Wave blush/bronzer make up, but I find it too light.
I do like one of their lipglosses though, there's a really nice pinky one which is really flattering, a lipgloss tube called 'Mauve Dream' which is great for everyday wear. There's another nude one I like too, can't remember what it's called though, which is another colour I really like cos it's not too light or dark.
Re: The Body Shop
Nothing. You can find better stuff for the same price elsewhere.
Re: The Body Shop
^^^ yeah pretty much agree haha
Re: The Body Shop
This is funny! :D
I was planning to buy something from the strawberry line due to the smell ..
Re: The Body Shop
face scrubs from orange product line are just excellent..
Re: The Body Shop
i used to buy loads of stuff from the body shop ..but i have stopped buying now as it makes my skin extremely dry.. i had recently purchased a set of their new collection called ‘white musk’ but tha bodywash leaves my skin dry and that creme doesnt provide enough moisturizer…
PS i love love love their lip balms especially strawbery, watermelon, cocoa, and rasberry ![]()
Re: The Body Shop
Body shop is ok in my opinion. None of their products are THAT great, but, that being said, i do use their vitamin e face mist to set my make up and it's pretty good.
Don't like their make up. It's overpriced compared to the quality!!!
Re: The Body Shop

Re: The Body Shop
i agree wid stoppit
Re: The Body Shop
Daffy, if you are looking to buy stuff whilst in Pakistan, then I'm not sure what to advise. When you come the UK, you will have lots of choice.
For natural products, I prefer the place I'm always linking - naturally thinking. I not only buy my oils and toners from here but now also other stuff like their face mask base. I bought my BIL one of their moisturiser's and he liked it enough to repurchase.
For smelly, treat stuff, I prefer Lush.
For things like lip balms and moisturisers, at the end of the day as much as I like things that smell nice, it's more important that they work. I've tried a million hand creams and the one I've been buying a lot is Hand Food by Soap & Glory. It's moisturising but doesn't make your hands feel weird or greasy afterwards (just in case anyone wants to try it).
Re: The Body Shop
Vitaman E intesive moisturizing cream is amazing! And their body butters are pretty great too...the makeup never caught my attention tbh!
Re: The Body Shop
Not a big fan of Body Shop's make up, but I do like their body butters, especially the papaya and cocoa ones! They are extremely hydrating. Oh and their body washes are good too.
Re: The Body Shop
I liked the idea of their lips n cheeks stain but it doesnt really work that well but oh well i still like it :p.
Re: The Body Shop
I love their body butters…
specially the papaya and orange…I feel like nibbling on my arm after I use it ![]()
Re: The Body Shop
The only product I like is their shea butter body butter, not keen on their shower gels or makeup, I agree with stoppit, its pretty overpriced. The soap and glory range from boots is fab. On stoppits advice (u rock!) I ordered the marine collagen moisturiser from naturally thinking and I looooove it.
Re: The Body Shop
Are you serious? :o
I generally find their stuff to be a bit too expensive.
Re: The Body Shop
oh yay, i was wondering how you got on with that.
Re: The Body Shop
I've already used their Vitamin E cream & Tea Tree oil and they basically brought no change on my skin at all. At least, no apparent change.
I am not really buying anything from them but was interested in their Strawberry Body polish & Strawberry Body Scrub etc. only.
