Aha the 80’s. Tight jeans and T-shirts and guys growing long hair.
Anyways, these were the songs that were phenomenon during that era. Which of these were your favorites, do tell.
1)Dil Dil Pakistan -Vital Signs.
2)Hawa Hawa- Hassan Jahangir. I don’t know what happend to Hassan, haven’t seen him in a while. Any word?
3)Aja na dil hai deewana- Hassan Jahangir
4)Ko Ko Reina- Alamgir. Considered Micheal Jackson of Pakistani POP music during the 80’s by many.
5)Deekha na tha kabhi hum nay yeh sama- Alamgir
6)Meinay tumhari gagar say- Alamgir
7)Disco Deewaney- Nazia Hassan. Nazia reflecting the disco culture of the 80’s
8)Aap Jaisa Koi mere zindigi mein aye- Nazia Hassan
Dum dum dee dee- Nazia Hassan. No one knows which one was big Nazia singing Dum dum dee or Bushra Insari singing “Dum dum dee dum dum, mehengai ka zor ho kum”.
I’m sure I’m missing so many other feel free to share them.
Dil Dil Pakistan of course but other than that definatly Hawa Hawa. I was too young when we visited our Nani’s house in Lahore and this song was a newly hit. I remember all of my cousins and all of us brothers and sisters dancing in a room and Hawa Hawa was being played in full blast. I have lots of old memories with this song, quite nostalgic it is for me.
Disco Deenwaney is another one I like alot. Ko Ko Reina and Gagar are quite famous numbers of Alamgir. He once came to Madison Square Garden (in NY) with Madam Noor Jahan and Albela. He was performing on song, probably mast qalander and pulled off that Alamgir stunt of his. He took a huge leap and fell flat on the ground 
everybody made so much fun of him that from then on he stood still while singing, well atleast he tried to. Other pop singer must’ve learned a lesson from this.
80’s song bring back lots of memories.
aap jaisa koi is not a paki song anyways...but was sure a super hit in early 80s.

this song by Hassan Jahangir "Aajayo zara mehndi laga-o" was an awesome number of the 80's too. I don't think there was a marriage ceremony in Pakistani without this song.
