The biggest loser ..

The biggest loser in the upcoming war .. my prediction is … our lil Tony boy … cuz that dictator [SH] is already a loser … so, if anyone has anything to lose, its Tony B. .. .. imho … US has democracy .. true .. UK has far more developed and rich political traditions .. and the waves there will last longer than in US … regardless of the outcome of the war …

I think you are not far off the mark. In Britain's parliamentary form of government it only needs around 50 or so ruling party MP's to rebel and call for the PM/leader to go, and he is usually turfed out of office within a year. Only the other week some 40 MP's from his own party did just that, and those numbers will grow in the next few days especially as a senior cabinet minister has just resigned. I would not be surprised if we see 'regime change' in the UK if not the US next year. :)

Maybe Blair and Bush can go into exile and continue their love affair

And sing the **duet **

Well at least I could hear Tony Blair's speech and that Duncan's as well but unfortunately for any strange reason CNN cut the half of the Liberal Democrat's speech.

What a pity.

Ali R Get BBC world.

The lib/dems get cut off all year round nothing to do with their war stance...it's just how things work.

I've never seen Tony gyrate so much, he was like a fish out of water thrashing about in his speech a man tormented and possessed, already kicking on the hangman’s noose.

I just got to express my admiration again for the likes of Robin Cook the only guy who speaks more sense than him is/was Tony Benn...is he still alive? :D

I voted for Tony Blair and sat up all night with friends and celebrated the victory for the common man after decades of Tory rule, boy am I pissed, I voted in a hawkish US chamcha who has no sense of duty to the opinion of his people at all and not a principle in sight.......and he's got awful teeth re-enforcing the British stereotype to all the world and showing up us Brits with immaculate dental hygiene.

Ali, remember it's a "them and us" world. Opposing opinions, even if they are in the majority are usually drowned out and their spokesmen smeared.

It's too early too call, and depend on how war with Iraq will go. If it's like the one in Afghanistan, they will gain popularity, if it's like 1/10th of Vietnam, they can say good bye to their PMships.

And it's not only Tony but Aussie Howard and Bush himself who's fate are clinging on the outcome of the war.
