Well the biggest surprise I gave him for the very first time was when on his birthday, I sent him to his friend’s place (luckily his friend was getting engaged the same day), I refused to go with him and excused providing him the reason that I am having headache.
I got a lot of time for preparations. I baked a cake already.. which you can see in the pic
I bought him some gifts, including some of our most beautiful pictures getting enlarged and framed.
Also, I blew more than 35 to 40 balloons and left them on the floor and mainly on the entrance door..
I spread a lot of Rose Flowers on the bed…and blew 10 candles placed on different places in room 
I put the Speakers on standby with an Enrique song, Could I have this Kiss!!
Turned off the lights!! and waited for him!!
Just when he entered the room, I played the track and he found a lot of balloons on the floor in his way… He was literally shocked and happy and speechless… and neither I wanted to talk… both of us came close and we did a ball dance over the song…
so good and so romantic… I really loved that he was happy and I could see how great was he feeling… he was really not expecting all that…
The song ended and we cut the cake… he liked it too much, he went through his gifts and he liked all of them too… and he realized our framed pics too It was a wonderful surprise for him 
P.S… that night a balloon due to air flew up and seemed to be my JINN 
while I was sleeping and I shouted out loud 
that was a terrible moment 
Phir we decided to put all balloons under our bed so that they dont scare me anymore

My husband is the big surprise giver in our relationship so I'll share how he surprised me.
Years ago I was visiting my mom in another state with my daughter and my husband decided to show up without any prior notice. When the bell rang and I looked through the peep hole I was like there is a man on our door stop who looks so much like my husband, then within seconds I realized it really was HIM. He hadn't mentioned coming over at all so I was left truly madly deeply (very happily) surprised.
Ps: That was only the beginning. He's pulled the same surprise visit stunt on us many many times since then during my visits to mom.

He's the big surpriser of our relationship. Always surprising when I least expect it, and I love it!
Once he had to leave for a business trip. I thought it was on Sunday night, around 5pm, and was really upset he was leaving, but mentally prepared myself for that. So that Sunday at around 3pm, he said to me he was taking me out to the city - which takes like an hour to get to. I kept complaining the whole way, saying what's the point of spending an hour of travelling there and another hour back, when we can just go to a coffee shop and spend a good three hours together locally?
Once we got there I was in a bad mood that we'd spent so long on a train just wasting our last few hours together. So while we were walking around with me in a bad mood, he turned to me and said he was staying the night and was gonna be leaving in the morning. He had pre-booked two tickets for us to see a film, and then had booked a table for us in a restaurant after that. We ended up renting bikes and cycling round the city before going to see the movie and having dinner. It was such a romantic evening and totally unexpected, as I thought he'd be leaving that night and was so upset.
Loved that day :)

When my husband (at that time fiance) was studying in Pakistan and I was in Canada, we were talking on MSN one day (night for him, day time for me). He mentioned to me that he was really hungry, but the cook was gone for the day and there was nothing to eat at the house (he lived with a bunch of guys from school). So I went onto the Pakistani KFC website and ordered food for him and had it sent to his home in Islamabad. I didnt tell him this. About an hour later, we were still talking on MSN, and he excused himself for a minute cause there was a knock on the door. When he came back, he was so surprised (in a good way) that I had sent food for him to the house. And I sent enough for all his roommates to eat as well. He then told me that was the most romantic thing ever. And I could tell that he was truly surprised by and touched by the gesture.

the first time i had a birthday after marriage, my husband gave me a disgusting looking extremely paindu gold ring. I was disappointed but i didn't show it and said thanks. Went to sleep and around 3am i heard strange music coming from my balcony. I woke him up and said someone or something is playing music on the balcony. He said he couldnt hear anything and it must be in my head. Totally freaked me out enough to run out of the room, but he stopped me. He'd bought me a new phone and put it behind the curtains and then was calling it from his phone.
Later he told me to give the ring back, he'd borrowed it from a jewellery shop in the village! I was glad to!

Well tbh Its not fair but I never gave him any surprise but the most amzing suprise he gave me ever was on this year valentine's day, He never was romantic and doesn't believe on celebrating valentines day according to him its just commercial thing, one another way for supermarkets to fool people and earn money. So this year after 5 years of marriage a week before valentine's day I was complaing that how he never got me roses, he promised me that this time he'll get me roses this time and we'll go out for romantic dinner.
On Valentine's day I was waiting for him and was all dressed up to go out and expecting a bunch of roses from him aswell. As soon as he came I noticed he didnt have any roses on his hand I thought oh he forgot about roses then; telling myself it's ok, not a big deal. After a while he took out a box of chocolates "ROSES" from his bag and said, here u go u wanted me to get roses and I got u some.. WTH... I was so offended and found it really rude and unnecessary, I said to him if u didn't wanna get me roses U shudn't have get those chocolate roses, It's like in SEX AND THE CITY Charlotte wants baby and her husband gets her picture baby.. he was like open it atleast, I said no take it away and forget it we're not going out. I was so pissed that I told my husband to go downstairs and leave me alone for a while but he kept insisting me to atleast open that box. After thinking for a minute I thought I'm overeacting and opened that Roses box, As soon as I opened I was so stunned and found brand new Iphone 5. Oh God I didnt know how to react and speechless for a minute, felt really bad what I been saying to him. I wanted to get Iphone 5 even before it got released but my husband wanted me to try android phones now as he's an IT consultant and have a lot of knowledge and intrests on different gadgets, but I used to tell him that even though I can't afford to have one now I'll save for next few months and will get it one day ISHALLAH, and I was saving for I phone 5. Then we went out for nice romantic dinner, It was best valentine day for me without chocolate and original roses yet still most romantic one ever ;)
