A lot of people suggested that we spell it Eesa too (that's my son's name), but I liked the traditional spelling, Essa. That's how we spell it.

^ i'd see that and pronounce it Es-sa though, like Tessa. :(
i'd go with Eesa.

^^^ Yes that's how they pronounce it. I knew it was going be like that and we'll have to correct everyone but like I said I liked it spelled that way so I have no issue telling people how its pronounce.

I like the way Isa looks, to me it looks cool and modern but I feel that people may mispronounce it, that's why I feel I have to go with Eesa. Alot of people say that it's not a problem for them to correct those who mispronounce it but personally I can't be bothered to always correct people. Also, I'm quite shy for example, the other day someone kept saying 'she' and I wanted to say No it's a 'He!' but didn't bother...

^ it say's Eesa but can be changed within the first year.

Actually if I had a choice .... Although I write Isa(as) .... For a name ... I would spell it like this:
Eeisa
So put an 'i' after the second 'e'.

My cousin's son has the same name and she spells it Eisa.
