Having visited major areas of Sindh this year I noticed one thing - how backward so much of it was. I have visited Sukkur, Larkana, Sehwan, Mithi and not one place looked like it had much development. I was shocked how much of a backwater Larkana was especially considering this is the home of the Bhutto’s. Multan has some development since the current PM originates from there.
Wherever you go you will see Benazir’s photo across billboards with her father, children and Asif in the background.
One thing that they could have really invested in was the tourist industry. Sindh has so much to offer and the increase in tourism would have meant more jobs for the locals. Moenjodaro hardly receives any visitors.
Look at the current flood situation. The PPP are not even bothering to deal with the issue.
People can fault PLM-N, PML-Q, MQM, MMA, ANP but from those parties i have seen some work directed at their electorate.
What have the PPP done for the region they receive most votes?
Yes during previous two governments there was some development work in Sindh, but current Government is really hopeless. I pray they lose their Sindh card this time.
In Bhuttos times.
hundreds projects in Sindh and thousands in Pakistan,
if you wanted details, i can,
Actyally Pakistani lives under the dirtiest propagandah of establishment and passes their live justifying their foolish and brutal acts.
I have only one example sufficient to clear.
It is PIA highjacking case 1981. One old from establishment ‘Billa’ clearly said that it was an act by Pakistani agencies and nobody serving or retired even unofficially declined, I was than first time in my life surprised to know that there were no terrorism charges in any case against so called’ Al zulfqar’
These fake blames and propaganda has become a part of our mentality.
Let us discuss Zardari now.
It is quite right that he is doing wrong.
If we look that what happened to Bhutto, BB,even Nawaz Sharif,
He is not much wrong.
Bhutto’s reducing unemployment technique is referred as “nationalization of industry”, jitnay bharnay hayn bharo, ek kaam karnay ke liye 20 logon ko hire karo.
This was done after him by Zia regime.
Go into details.
You said the same which I was complaining. “Actyally Pakistani lives under the dirtiest propagandah of establishment and passes their live justifying their foolish and brutal acts.”
What about Benazir Bhutto’s two terms as Prime Minister? What about other times when Sindh’s CM was from PPP? What about local MNA/MPAs doing for their localities?
I don’t recall any big industries being bought by government of Pakistan under Ziaul Haq time, can you mention some?
They filled those with their men.
And there was no CM from PPP in any government . This is always arranged for Punjab only to keep it away from 2nd grade Pakistanis of other provinces.
