The only way is to stop terrorism there in my opinion, is to stop fooling one self into believing the Taliban can be reasoned with or convinced.

Defeat the Taliban outright. Make them non existent.

Introduce political reforms, give FATA political representation. Allow the creation of genuine leadership. Invest in education and infrastructure.

End all political machinations, stop the nonsensical jihads. No more interference in the affairs of Afghanistan, no more using the Tribesmen as cannon fodder. Let them focus on progress, not war.

That is important one, would you please explain how we are interfering in the affairs of Afghanistan?
