Look at all the developed countries of the world and see what role religion plays in the matters of the state in these countries. Or look at the countries of the world where religion plays a role in the matters of the state and check their development index. The role of Religions in state matters is a thing of the past. It ruins everything. Its a problem, rather then a solution. It divides rather than unites. It helps creating a culture where you cannot question (certain things, certain people) and thus allows abuse of the system by those elements. The solution would be a total opposite of this. A system where people have right of information and which promotes a culture of reasoning and questioning. Otherwise we’d have an ISLAMIC country but all the muslims of this country would be more willing to flee to an UNISLAMIC country for a better life.

There is ‘being developed’ on one side of the coin and then there is being un-Islamic … The only reason why this pattern exists is because of the dynamics of global secular governance. However the third option which is the middle way has been almost left out of the equation.

Can we determine that being developed is good? There is no point forsaking one extreme to get into another … The way to bring balance is to do so gradually and as I said earlier to impose ultra modernism with all its secularity it will have a negative effect on society rather than a positive one.

It is possible to integrate Islam into a modern framework …

Secular countries lead the show not because of their secularity but because of the preferences laid out by the businesses that reside in those countries … Today we can’t think of the world in terms of borders, land and oceans … but in terms of economic borders and their position with the World Bank … My suggestion does not consider economy as being a factor for the improvements to be seen … there is plenty of cash in the country it is just hoarded by the elite.

In many ways Pakistan is the place that all capitalistic countries are destined to go … because all are tending towards a greater and greater level of disparity … Indexes can be misleading.
