Imran leads Wasim in almost every category, even in bowling.

My Pick is Javed Miandad
Because of himself and what he did for Pakistani team and Pakistani cricketers. He not only played himself but he supported many other cricketers and teach them basics why go far Salim Malik, Basit Ali, Yousuf Youhana, Wasim Akram, Amir Sohail and list goes on and on.
Imran got all the attention because he was the captain (and relative of whole cricket board i guess) of the team and Miandad always kept his profile low till Imran was retired.
Miandad alone has won many matches for Pakistan, far more than Imran has won. Imran sure was a sucessful captain (oh by the way Miandad's winning percentage is better than Imran i guess) but he was not a better cricketer than Miandad (in my openion). Selecting him the greatest cricketer ever for Pakistani is like Selecting Ganguly over Tendulkar just because Ganguly is a Captain.
