The Best Opportunity to Change Our Lives Forever!

**The Best Opportunity to Change Our Lives Forever!

**Have you ever felt like having fresh new start again in life? Have you ever wished that all of your past sins were wiped out like you were a new born baby?

Have you ever felt like you just have not done enough for the Hereafter and that you have an empty good deed account that needs filling?

Have you also ever wanted to really get closer to Allah and to renew & strengthen your imaan (faith)?

Well the next few days are the perfect opportunity for us not only to have a fresh new start again in our lives but to have our entire lifetime sins wiped away like a new born baby and to have our good deed accounts filled!

This opportunity for us is on the Night of power:

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever stands (in prayer) in Laylatul Qadr while nourishing his faith with self-evaluation, expecting reward from Allah, will have all of his previous sins forgiven.” (Bukhari and Muslim).

A night better than a 1000 months:

So valuable is this Night of Power that the Quran devotes a special surah to it “Lailatul Qadr is better than a thousand months” [97:3]

This one night surpasses the value of 30,000 nights. The most authentic account of the occurrence of the Night indicates that it can occur on any one of the last ten, odd numbered nights of Ramadan, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29.

Worship on all odd numbered nights:

Therefore we should strive to stay up at least on the odd numbered nights of the last ten days. If we can’t manage that then we should at least search for this night on 27th.

Surely if we really want to find this most blessed night then we should pray on all of the last ten odd nights of Ramadan and gain forgiveness of an entire lifetime of sins and rewards of over 83 YEARS OF WORSHIP! Subhanallah! Most of us will not even live upto such an age!

This could be our last chance!

There is NO guarantee we will be alive next Ramadan. How many of us know of muslims who have passed away this year and did not make it to Ramadan? How can we guarantee that we will be alive next year to see another Ramadan?

So CANNOT miss this one opportunity to change our lives forever. If we ever wanted to have a fresh start and get ALL of our sins wiped out then this is our chance.

If we ever wanted to gain immense rewards to fill up our good deed accounts then this is our chance.

If we ever wanted the chance to renew & strengthen our imaan (faith) and get closer to Allah then this is our chance!

So we CANNOT afford to miss this opportunity for we may never get this chance again!

When is Laylatul Qadr?

According to authentic narrations it can be found in any of the last 10 nights of Ramadan, most likely the odd numbered nights of the last 10 nights of Ramadan: Which are the 21st night, 23rd, 25th, 27th & 29th nights. Most scholars say that it is likely to be on the 27th night but there is no guarantee of this and so to catch this night we must worship all the odd numbered nights or as many as we can manage.

**Remember: **We can gain 83 years of worship reward and forgiveness for an entire lifetime of sins for worshipping on this one special night. So we CANNOT afford to miss out. If we are working on the days after those nights and we can take those days or go work later on that day then we should try to, even if it means we to work go tired on those days, so be it as it is only once a year whre this opportunity comes and we may NEVER get such an opportunity again as we may not be alive next year!

So make the commitment!

So we should all make a firm commitment to devote ourselves in worship on all of the last 10 nights, if not then on the odd numbered nights, if not then at least on as many nights as we can. If we still cannot do that then at least on the 27th night. We should worship Allah with full sincerity, hope for immense reward, forgiveness and mercy from Allah for an entire lifetime of sins.

We should also make a firm commitment to Allah that we will change ourselves for the better for the rest of the year as Ramadan is for life not just for one month.

We must remember that our time is very short and that this may well be our very last Ramadan as it was the last Ramadan for so many who thought they would make it!

So let us grab this opportunity with both hands! If we walk towards Allah then he will run towards us!

May Allah enable us to make the best of the last 10 days & nights of Ramadan and may he enable us to gain the maximum rewards from this auspicious night. Ameen

Two men who embraced Islam together - The one who lived through one more Ramadan will go to Jannah earlier! - Amazing hadith!

There were two men who embraced Islam together, one of whom was more diligent in piety and died a martyr, while the other died a year later of natural causes––and then a friend of theirs saw in a dream that the one who died later naturally was called into Paradise before the other one––upon which the Messenger, sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, ascribed this preference to the extra year of praying and Ramadan fasting that the latter had had. [Ahmad and Ibn Majah]

In other words, since the latter one had had a bit longer life and had the opportunity to witness one more year of fasting and praying than the other, he acquired more righteous deeds than the one who tried harder and died a martyr earlier. This narration reminds us of what a great blessing every single day of life is for a believer––and of what a great reward obtained from the obligatory acts of praying and fasting.

That is why the early Muslims would pray to Allah to extend their stay in this life such that they witness the following month of Ramadan. Mu’alla ibn Al-Fadhl, may Allah have mercy upon him, said that our righteous predecessors, may Allah be pleased with them, would supplicate to Allah almost six months before Ramadan to make them reach it, and would supplicate six months after it asking Him to accept their hard work in it.

Yet, many a procrastinator wastes away this blessed month and hopes to repent, reform and fast in the future while wasting away the days and nights of this month in pursuit of the trivialities of this world.

Who is to say we will live a day longer? This is our only one opportunity to change our lives for the better forever!

We must get our priorities straight. Are we going to put everything into a short life which can end at any second? Or will we put more into the Hereafter which is everlasting?

Surely any logical person would then choose the Hereafter over this short temporary life.

Well this is our chance! So let us make the best of this blessed month and ask of Allah to extend our lives so that we can experience MANY more Ramadan and have more prayers in our accounts. So that we may be amongst the lucky ones to enter Jannah!

May Allah guide us and give us the realisation to change and turn our lives around so that we may obey and please him and refrain from that which may anger or displease him. Ameen

The Angel of Death - You Will Meet Him!

Re: The Best Opportunity to Change Our Lives Forever!

"Let those who have failed to make the most of this month (Ramadan) end it with good, because actions are (judged) by their endings." - ibn Rajab

"Excel in what you can do now,you will be forgiven for what has passed. The lesson is not in the rough beginning but the good end." - ibn Qayyim

"You still have time to be among those who receive Allah's special mercy if this month has slipped you by."

Re: The Best Opportunity to Change Our Lives Forever!

If you worshipped Ramadan, know that Ramadan is leaving. But if you worshipped the creator of Ramadan, know that He the Almighty is everlasting.
Therefore worship Allah alone and remember that he is most merciful outside Ramadan too. His mercy never decreases.
It's us, rather being so weak, we fail to improve our standard so lets raise our game now and keep this high momentum outside RAMADAN because we are not merely RAMADAN Muslims.
We are Full Time Muslims for life!

**Life Is Too Short - THIS TALK SHALL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! **

Re: The Best Opportunity to Change Our Lives Forever!

Our beloved sister Rania captured her last moments before she, her children and other residents in her flat at Grenfell tower were overtaken by the blazing fire.

When she woke up that morning did she think she was going to die? Do any of us think that we can die any second whilst we go about our daily lives?

Her death and that of many others around us each day should be a constant reminder to us about our inevitable death which could occur at any second. We plan our future yet tomorrow is not certain for us.

Tonight could be Laylatul Qadr so it is the best time to change our lives and make a firm commitment to Allah that we will let go of our major sins and try our best to obey and please him from now on so that he may forgive us for all of our sins like that of a newborn baby. Make the commitment now there may not be a tomorrow!

May Allah give our beloved sister Rania and all Muslims who died Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen
