Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi

He is my Shaykh's shaykh. They have done several lectures together in the UK.

He is mashallah a great man.

Ha....because some people have respect for these Shaykhs....and Adab does not permit me and id rather not say something that would hurt their feelings! It is upto themselves to make judgement! :)

Were you one of his ex-students? Even if you were, I wouldn't trust you :) I've heard many stories about other shuyukh and trust me none of them were true. Even the courts had passed judgment in favor of the shuyukh. Allah knows best.

Nope. I was not a student. This is just stuff that i have come across on my travels on the internet. Again, obviously, i dont believe everything I read.

I have the utmost respect for these Shaykhs. Even if they are not what they claim to be. Because only the Almighty can truly know but someone....

May Allah be pleased with these pious Men and/or Women :)

No, I'd really like to know what you have to say about Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi.

You're calling some opinions of salafis regarding sufi scholars on internet "scandals".

Please go back and read my comments. I wasnt, what your suggesting, saying that what Salafis are saying about Sufi scholars as scandals.

I refer to the scabdals that are "supposedly" attached to this scholar. I do not assume.

Again the "scandals" associated with Shaykh Nuh Kellar, is what made me google this in the first place.

I hope this makes things a little clearer. :)

How about the status of Companions of other Prophets (PBUT), does they have the same status in comparison to the Companions of Prophet (SAAW)

he's talking in general sense the companions of the Prophet(pbuh). and yes the sahaba will be in front of the other companions of past prophets/messengers afaik.
