Bollywood: Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.....
starring SRK and Kajol. Movie is a love story.....as usual....but the treatment is fantastic, songs are cool and overall the movie is a winner.

Hollywood: this is a tough one.....but if I really think hard....I guess it is
Shawshank Redemption.
starring: Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman. It is about a man, serving time in prison for a crime he never committed. It is a gr8 movie about having hope, faith and never giving up on making one's life what it should really be.

Bridget Jones's Diary ..... a modern adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and a movie that a lot of women (including moi) can relate to.

Yep, Shawshank Redemption is a good choice.
I would like to rent Bridget Jone's Diary (so far I have only watched Red Shoe Diaries ;) )

But my recent favorite would be "Good Will Hunting". It's hard to be able to recognize true genius and yet unable to see it happen.

Red Shoes Diaries .... well, Bridget Jones is not as risque as that. I think you will enjoy it. It's one of my all-time favourite flicks.

Another one of my favourites is Carlito's Way starring Al Pacino and Sean Penn. Brilliant movie with an excellent soundtrack.

i kindaa dont have a personal favorite but the movie i enjoyed most was Duplicate. i watched it with my nieces and nephews. while watching it with them, they were like :rotfl" :rotfl" :rotfl" :rotfl" :rotfl" all the time and that made the whole time wonderful experience
