Which is the best eye liner to use? In black, that stays on longer, makes a definite line the way you want and does not smudge away either.
Re: THE best Liner
are you looking for pencil, liquid or gel liner? lol theres too much variety out there. liquid- Blinc eyeliner.
Pencil- Milan eye pencil or urban decay 24/7 pencil. Gel liner- Studio secrets gel liner in black.
Re: THE best Liner
Liquid eye liner - and something that would be available in Pakistan too.
Re: THE best Liner
Pencil: Stila's Stingray. It sets so it doesn't budge. I also love Milani's Liquif'eye Liner, it's amazing for the waterline.
Gel: Blacktrack by MAC or Black Ink by Bobbi Brown (I have a brown Bobbi Brown one but I know the BB one gets massive love, esp. because the packaging prevents it from drying out which the MAC one is prone to doing)
Liquid: I personally dont use liquid but I know L'Oreal and Lancome both make really good ones.
Cake liner: Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Liner (this form of liner and this particular one is EXCELLENT for tightlining. This Laura Mercier one in particular is made for tightlining purposes. You just wet the brush and dip it into the pan and make a liquid-like formula and apply it. It's superb)
My personal go-to liner is Blacktrack by MAC from all the above mentioned, though. It glides on, dries to a matte finish and is EXCELLENT for the waterline. A flat liner brush is perfect because you can use it to apply liner on the lid but also to press into the waterlines.
Re: THE best Liner
Oh, just read your post on top. My mom went to Pakistan and forgot to pack her liquid liner. She bought one from Luscious Cosmetics and it was amazing! It didn't rub off and dried to a matte finish. The applicator was a sponge-tip. I think it cost around 500 rupees.
Re: THE best Liner
Maybelline drama lasting gel eyeliner....omg this is sooo amazing! its exactly like the blacktrack except wayyy cheaper! its totally waterproof and won't budge AT ALL...i need to use damp makeup remover cloths to get the eyeliner off by the end of the day!
Re: THE best Liner
My cousins in Pak rave about 'dmgm' liner. They say it doesn't smudge. I think it's available at Enem store in liberty, Lahore for around 500 PKR.
Re: THE best Liner
Which brand is dmgm?
Also - what's the difference in looks of liquid eye liner & gel one?
Re: THE best Liner
I thought everyone used kajal for the waterline...now I realize why mine moves around so much.
What do you all wear or prefer for the waterline?
Re: THE best Liner
^I use Blacktrack for the waterline or when I'm in a rush and need to use a pencil then I use the Milani Liquid'Eye and if I'm in a bigger rush, Hashmi Kajal. The liner w/ the most longevity is Blacktrack. Gel liners in general are the way to go for the waterline.
Re: THE best Liner
Gel eyeliners vs liquid ones?
Re: THE best Liner
gel liner by bobby brown
Re: THE best Liner
gel liners def!
Gel liner by BB defo
If something easy to use, I quite like Bourjois Liner Feutre pen, esp for everyday wear
Re: THE best Liner
yah bourjois pencil is really good for waterline. it look good and neat black line.
but nw finding a good liner for my wedding?
but a liquid liner or wt? that can be applied as newly wife?
Re: THE best Liner
I feel gel liners dont give you the intense black look which liquid liner does. But my waterline is so watery, nothing sticks by! :(
Re: THE best Liner
Urban Decay 24/7 pencil is the best. It glides on smootly and you can always apply some gel liner on top

Definitely gel. You should apply it with a stiff brush or a painting brush. You can also apply it using a pencil liner by dipping the pencil liner in the pot.
Re: THE best Liner
Something that's available in Pakistan as well...
We have Loreal, lancolm, Clinique originals
MAC, BB, Estee Lauder - Thailand versions available
Re: THE best Liner
^Clinique makes an amazing gel liner. There is also Blacktrack by MAC or Blank Ink by Bobbi Brown. IMO, gels will last you a very long time so try to get into using gels. They give the same precision of liquid but also can be used as bases for eyeshadow, on the waterline and can be smudged too for smokier looks.
