Please recommend some good English language center in Dubai…and also please comment on British council,Berlitz,Eton and Inlinqua if you or any of your friend has personal experience in these institutions.

International House on SZR is good they have all the English Qulaifications running as well as CELTA, English for Academic purposes, TOEFEL, IELTS , BE and so on.... I know it pretty well and also the people that run it....

I almost became an IELTS instructor for the British Council when I was in England. Their set up is quite good and the have a standardized method of teaching and testing which I was impressed with, especially in a corruption ridden country like Pakistan. (I left the country before starting the job)
You can always contact all the organizations you are interested in and get more information and look through each ones information to see what you feel is the most valid.
As someone has mentioned, please ensure that your qualification is recognised by most universities or whatever institute you may be thinking of doing this course for.

WH GOOD for u!!! Brit Council is excellent and they have centres in Islamabad- did u finally become an IELTS instructor? Its real big out here in the ME
Yes Aish do the TOEFEL and then u'd do the IELTS.... The Brit Council in Dubai I also worked for and they are real good and professional ...

LOL why would I do IELTS etc? I am already in uni and for AUD's english accuplacer test I got more than the actual percentage allowed which is 100 :p lol I am not doing it for unis etc. It is just to see how well my english language skills stand when compared to TOEFEL

oohh i see hun!!!! Well i did think why then u were doing TOEFEL as youre a native speaker ... I thought u were trying to get as many language courses under ur belt- not a bad thing to do !!! Hey i hope I didnt offend hun- it wasnt meant to in the foggiest!

Appreciate your advice but AUD is charging AED 13,000/- for per level (Total 5 levels) which is ten times high from british council or any other reputed institute.
What do you say on this?
Does it makes sense to pay such a huge amount only for 7 weeks.
