If you do not like it does it mean nobody should like it? You are yourself confessing that people have to stand in line for long time to eat there that is a testament to its popularity and the fact that most people like it.

I agree, I don’t have taste for these heavy foods. Probably, my rural background is a reason. Most of people there don’t like these heavy food items and therefore i found it over-hyped. On other hand, Nihari is used to be a morning food item and I read somewhere that if it was not consumed on time (just after fajr), people didn’t like to have it after that time.
