Actually I am completely indifferent to Sanjeev Kapoor's cooking, or his TV program. And no where did I say that I think men are great cooks.

The reason I mention MwaP is because he is the first to come out and say men are great cooks. Whereas you said that men can't really cook.

I don't have an opinion one way or the other, but now we all need a decision.

Asif mate...men clearly can cook if they put their mind to it...the reason desi boys dont cook is becuase they dont bother not becuase they are incapable...

But as for chefs...i agree with ManwithaPlan that as a career men deal a lot better with the pressures...men will listen to a man in the kitchen not a woman...men can command respect in the kitchen and will handle the stress that much better...

Also i genuinely believe men to be a lot more innovative...men tend to experiment a lot more with cooking whilst girls stick to what they know and have learnt...generally this comes from the fact that for men its fun and not just something they have to do...

Granted though Asif that more girls cook than men...but the question was about male chefs being better not how many males cook...

For professional chefs this may not be true. Its their source of income. For casual weekend chefs a la bar be que kings, yes.

I agree with you...i distinguished the two...

Men make better chefs cos they deal with the pressure of the career a lot better...

Men might not cook as much generally but those who do cook cook out of enjoyment not out of neccesity which makes them more innovative...

I don't see why men cannot cook good food (in fact they do, thus the reason why most famous chefs are men) so that "Men can't cook better than Razia and Safia" is completely false.

nisa… the reason all the best chefs in the world are men, is because its all a conspiracy. These men do not allow women to come forward and be recognized for their talent. I say, down with Emeril. In any case, Rachel Ray is way way better looking too.
