Very interesting question. I've always found it difficult to cater this. One should remember that the other person is not a idiot so you cant just say wutever to be in five years. it must be very realistic as well as balanced and show some career growth as well. On the top of it you have to show some motivation to be really aspiring to reach there in five years.
To be honest its what something that you should actually have it in mind as a goal. I mean it shouldnt look like you are making it up rather you have to believe it yourself to be a your dest in five years.

Waise , let me share , this is a trick question . Many candidates get it wrong. What interviewers are judging amongst many other things is , how ambitious is the person , their motivation and focus levels.
So if someone answers carefully thought out words , it makes interviewers wonder if they are concealing the real self and if they answer with over ambitious zeal , interviews see red flag there !
you gotta tread the path nice and slow !
