Re: the Best and Worst cream blushes...
Oh this is my favorite topic! :D
I absolutely love blushes and on top of that cream blushes are totally my thing, since I have dry skin, so I can easily wear em without it making me look oily. I am not a fan of shimmer/glitter so all these blushes mentioned below don't have any of that. I love blushes which give a natural glow to cheeks. Here are some of my absolute favorites (in no particular order)
1). MAC blushcremes (they are discontinued though :( ..) - their new formulation is cremeblend which I find is a bit powdery (although its cream). I absolutely love Brit Wit and Ladyblush from the older formulation. You can try the newer ones they have and see if it works with your skin. :)
2) Tarte Cheek Stains - they are pretty good, I have these in Dollface and Blissful, gorgeous colors, although they are not highly pigmented, but gives the right amount of glow, a tad bit sticky until it dries.
3). Nars cream blushes - I have finished a couple pans of Penny Lane, one of my favorite blushes ever! Such a pretty dusty mauve color. These can possibly work even if you have oily skin.'
4). Illamasqua cream blusher - I have it in Rude and Promise, and they are pretty pigmented, so you only need a little bit. I think these are great for all types of skin.
5). NYX - has some pretty nice cream blushes (very very similar to MAC's older formulation of blushcreme). The color payoff is pretty good too, but probably not so good for oily skin. Because they are slightly more creamy, melts like butter.

Ditto about the Mac and Illamasqua blushes. I'm tempted to try some more from Illamasqua but to be honest, i'll only use them 2-3 times. I think i'm going to wait until something finishes first
Re: the Best and Worst cream blushes...
Nyx cream blushes have several dupes of Mac ones. Only thing is, they're mainly available in America (haven't seen many here).
I heard clinique had a coupla cream blushes which were good, although personally I find that their colour is not very pigmented and doesn't show up that much.
Re: the Best and Worst cream blushes…
wow, thanks for such a detailed reply! i’ll have to try out some of these! i’d say my skin is slightly on the dry side of normal- so i can prolly try all your suggestions ![]()
Re: the Best and Worst cream blushes...
oh, and who knows a good muted peachy color?
Re: the Best and Worst cream blushes...
I have yet to try the Illamasqua ones but I like BECCA, MAC and NYX ones. I also really like the NYC Creme Blush sticks. So cheap and SO SO SO good!
