According to a new book..of 22 items directly associated with the Prophet (pbuh) 11 are in Pakistan, 10 are in turkey..how accurate is that bit of information?

I dont know about the exact numbers, however, there are items in Badshahi Mosque (mueseum) that belonged to Muhammad:saw:.

and seen a lot of pics of the items in turkey....

I remember back in '98-'99, maybe even later, the Taliban had claimed to have a cloak of the Prophet (pbuh), and put it on display for a while.

I have heard about things in Afghanistan and Kashmir as well? Can anyone put some links to what is around and where..I am curious why so many seem to be in Pakistan and Turkey..Turkey I am guessing has something to do with the Khilafat..but Pakistan and the rest?

I would like to say that I had a chance to see Items preserved in Turkey and in Lahore but did not had chance to see what is preserved in other areas. When I saw them I was not worshipping them and nor I bowed in front of them.
The only thing in my mind was that how simple life our Prophet Muhammed (P.b.u.h) was living and I also stayed there to see what are the feelings of others who come to see these items and it was same like mine a feeling of attachment and respect nothing less nothing more.

theres a book called the sacred trusts, published in turkey, got quite a lot of pictures of the Holy Prophet SAW's belongings, and also pictures of other relics belonging to other sahabi's, prophets etc.... didnt realise that so much relics/belongings were preserved.
