its like:

i) this community develops a mutual decision on approving a member.For instance ,i am a new member and i get picked on by a member, i will be picked on by the rest. Hence i will have a harder time fitting in.and vice versa, one guppy approves of me the rest approve of me too.

Is my above statement true that people here as a group takes decision who fits in and who does?Which brings me to the question, did you have to struggle to fit in this community and made friends easily?

^hmmm....no one picked on me...I did not have a difficult time making friends...but I think some of the friends I made was not the crowd for me..now I jst talk to ppl who I feel are not gonna be gossip bags!! And you don't really need approval from anyone..it is an on-line forum...

I think that happens in real life too when you go somewhere new and meet people - to a certain extent at least.
